VILLARREAL
THE ONE BEHIND THE CAMERA
I work with medium format digital and film photography, drawn to timeless images that feel honest, emotional, and artful. Photography has allowed me to witness love in its most sincere form, across different cultures and places — and I carry that with deep gratitude.
Beyond weddings, art has always been a part of my life. That curiosity led me to co-found Arde Arte, an independent contemporary art gallery, and Bengala, a film lab and photography gallery based in Monterrey, México. These projects keep me grounded and inspired, and they’re a big part of how I see the world.
Photography is more than my job, it's my way of understanding beauty, connection, and time.
FOR COUPLES WHO SEE THEIR WEDDING AS A STORY WORTH REMEMBERING...
I work with couples who see their wedding as more than a celebration, it’s a reflection of who they are, how they love, and the life they’re building together.
My approach is rooted in documentary storytelling, guided by an editorial sensibility. I focus on what unfolds naturally: the quiet moments, the in-between glances, the unexpected chaos, the tenderness, and all the beauty that appears when you allow yourselves to be fully present.

THIS EXPERIENCE
IS FOR YOU IF:
• You want your photos to feel timeless, emotional, and deeply personal.
• You care about aesthetics, but never at the cost of authenticity.
• You’re drawn to images that feel more like memories than poses.
• You see photography as a way of preserving emotion, not just how things looked.
If you’re looking for someone who will observe quietly, feel deeply, and document your day with intention and sensitivity, I’d love to tell your story.
A NOTE ON FILM &
ARTISTIC PRACTICE
ARTISTIC PRACTICE
My photographic work is rooted in film and shaped by an ongoing contemporary artistic practice that includes gallery work and participation in national and international exhibitions. This background informs the way I see, compose, and build visual narratives with intention and sensitivity.
Film remains a fundamental part of my process. It requires presence and trust, slowing the rhythm and allowing each frame to be guided by intuition rather than perfection. Its texture, depth, and subtle imperfections create images that feel tangible and timeless.
These principles naturally extend to the way I photograph weddings. I approach each celebration as a visual story—honoring quiet gestures, emotional nuance, and the in-between moments that give meaning to the day, creating images that feel honest, human, and lasting.
